Fearrington Life
Fearrington is a country village located between Chapel Hill and Pittsboro, North Carolina (directions). At its core is the Village Center, featuring shops and first class restaurants, among lovely gardens. Residents and visitors alike are delighted by Fearrington's Belted Galloway cattle, Tennessee Fainting Goats, and 3 donkeys, Mary Alice and Jasper, and "Chicken Palace in the farm fields.

Fearrington residents enjoy a variety of neighborhoods and life styles. Fearrington living includes rustic contempories, cozy townhomes, patio homes, Charleston-style designs and spacious large-lot detached homes.

Through the Fearrington Homeowners Association, there is an amazing array of clubs, interest groups and activities to enrich Fearrington life. Fearrington Cares, a separate support organization, helps Fearringtonians live meaningful and healthy lives. Another adjunct to Fearrington is Galloway Ridge, a premier retirement community which includes the Duke Center for Living, which offers a gym with indoor running track, the latest exercise machines, and indoor lap pool and physical therapy services. The Fearrington Swim & Croquet Club is also a separate organization, with elective membership, located next to the Fearrington Clubhouse, known as the Gathering Place.

There is an annually published Handbook andDirectory and website to keep everyone up to date on Fearrington happenings.  There is also a monthly Newsletter, which can be accessed online or hard copy delivered by volunteer Block Contacts.
